Pros

Gets to see the outside, they give you a car and equipment, flexibility with hours, overtime

Cons

Where do I begin…unprofessional staff from clinical people to management, but in the clinical staff’s defense most just hate working here now that they don’t care about how they do their jobs. Not like management cares about the quality of work anyway, they only care about numbers you perform. Staff tends to not last long, current management is by far the worst out of the ones I experienced so far. Dispatch doesn’t know the difference between a cat and a dog, they don’t hire the brightest but also don’t train them well. Nursing homes are also part of the problem with working here. Nursing homes order things that are not necessary multiple times and will argue with you to just do them because Director of Nursing or Dr wants it. Let’s just say that unless you need flexibility or something similar, please do yourself a favor and run

Pros

This is a genuinely great place to work, with a strong, positive culture across both leadership and staff. The team is supportive, collaborative, and made up of people who care about doing their jobs well and helping each other succeed. While the operation is large and the work can be demanding at times, it is also very rewarding. A standout is the leadership, especially at the operations level. Management provides clear direction without micromanaging and sets realistic, achievable deadlines. There is a strong emphasis on coaching and development rather than criticism, which creates an environment where employees feel supported and motivated to grow. Leadership is approachable and available—whether you need help working through a challenge, an extra set of hands on a project, or simply guidance and mentorship. Overall, it’s a culture built on respect, teamwork, and accountability, which makes a big difference in day-to-day work experience.

Cons

The scale and pace of the operation can be demanding at times, which may not be ideal for everyone
