Pros

- Great at employing great people. - Feeling of camaraderie among team members. - Great hybrid working flexibility. - Company has good values and does pro bono work every year. - Company outsources opportunities for employees to learn about political history and important topics around the mistreatment of Māori people in past and present.

Cons

- Managers seem to be not sufficiently equipped by seniors and stakeholders to help their team members with skill or career development in certain fields. - Seems to be little area for career development, especially for employees who aren't advisors or consultants, and even then most consultants are unfulfilled with their work. Sometimes this is also really dependent on the manager you have, who is likely more loyal to their seniors than your own wellbeing and areas of need. - Company seems to struggle in retaining specifically diverse employee members. - Employees with Māori heritage and who speak Māori often feel exploited or used as the company's diversity token. - Zero transparency around the companies profits, salaries and pay bans. - Frequent instances of harassment, bullying, and inappropriate language reported by employees. Despite management's efforts it seems there's not enough capacity to place enough care into amending these situations.

Pros

Cool office space, dog-friendly, flexible with remote work

Cons

Extremely clique-y. No one made an effort to get to know me, and I felt incredibly isolated from my co-workers. I was extremely lonely when I worked here.
