Pros
Smart, talented, mission-minded people who really care about the work.
Cons
- Massive turnover - Bottlenecks - Confusion regarding who the stakeholder is, or stakeholder decisions being overridden at the 11th hour causing massive disruption and rework - Lack of clarity regarding team structures. On the direct response and communications teams for instance, layoffs took place in January of 2024. At that time the CEO addressed the teams and committed to "getting it right" and rolling out a new comms/direct response structure to provide clarity and be sure we were working together in the right way. Now, one year and 8 months later, the teams are still waiting on that structure. The CEO says she is delaying because she "wants to get it right" w/o realizing the frustration that causes and how it makes the teams feel like, really, they just aren't a priority.
