Pros

There is a pretty decent commission structure and good base pay for agents, but after awhile it's not worth it for reasons discussed below.

Cons

Leadership is a white boys club; very few women or minorities are promoted to leadership positions. Agents are treated like numbers. You will give moved around to different desks or different teams without explanation and sometimes without warning. Most supervisors "lead" in a command and control style; very little support, care or effort to develop their agents. The Eagan office has the lowest levels of satisfaction among its employers out of all AllianceOne offices and they do nothing to address it. You're promised all sorts of things like they "put people first" and all their values, but it's just lip service, don't fall for it. They're just words on posters.

Pros

Easy to apply, and the hiring process is quick. I would recommend working here as a transitional job if one is needed.

Cons

No job security as an agent or supervisor, you can be let go with little notice (a day). Overall day-to-day experience depends on the department you work for. The attendance policy has recently changed as well and it is very vague. Accruing PTO is very slow, and I have been told that getting unpaid time off approved is not something they do. Unpaid time off can be "approved" but still goes against your attendance. There is no HR on site, and every meeting with them is virtual. In all honesty, communication with the corporate team is lacking if you are an agent. In my time working here, I have only met one person from corporate, and it was HR introducing themselves during our training period. During my time working there have noticed that there is very little transparency between corporate and agents (not sure if this is intentional or just how it worked with the team I was on.
