      Plush London office and staff are friendly

      Cons

      Global operations are micro managed from the US. Attitude from US is to do as little as you can get away with from a back office/support functions perspective and standards are low as a result. Question this at your peril.....

      Good underwriting teams and discipline Fairfax equity is enticing friendly peers

      brutal expectations nasty politics very cliquey management middle management tends push down bullying they get from higher-ups to junior staff
