Pros

Working at Allo Health has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career so far. As an engineer, I’ve had the opportunity to work on real, meaningful projects that directly impact users and the business. The best part is the ownership and trust the company gives you — you’re encouraged to take initiative, experiment, and build things from scratch. It’s a great place if you enjoy learning and taking on new challenges rather than just following a fixed routine. The team culture here is genuinely supportive and collaborative. Everyone, from leadership to interns, is approachable and open to ideas. There’s a strong focus on mentorship — senior engineers and managers actively guide you, review your work in detail, and help you grow technically as well as professionally. The environment pushes you to think critically, improve your problem-solving skills, and understand how your work fits into the bigger product vision. Another highlight is the sense of purpose. Allo Health is doing something impactful in the healthcare space, and you can feel that in the way teams approach their work. The energy and pace of a startup are definitely there, but so is the empathy and intention behind what we build. It’s not just about shipping code — it’s about solving problems that matter.

Cons

Like any startup, things move quickly, and priorities can shift suddenly. But if you’re adaptable and proactive, it becomes part of the learning experience rather than a downside.
