Pros

1. Good for doctors who don’t wish to continue in the clinical side. 2. Good for mothers who wish to stay at home with children.

Cons

1. No regard for ethics- doctors will be made to act like salespeople, pushing people to buy the product (meds) 2. Medicines are overpriced and they will discourage you from telling the patient they can get them from elsewhere also at a cheaper price. This is a very important point because most Indians cannot afford to pay upwards of 3000 every month for something they can get for much cheaper outside. 3. They will you to post fake positive reviews on Google. Frankly as a doctor it feels degrading. 4. It is a sexual health platform and some patients will misbehave with female doctors. There is no safety check for these instances and the company puts their hands up, one person has literally said that it comes with the job to me. 5. The hours will extend to 9pm almost everyday. 6. Profit over everything else. That’s what doctors are graded for. Period. “Converting” a patient (customer?) to a paying one is what matters most here. If you fall short of making the company enough money you will be put in the back end and your salary will be cut accordingly.
