Pros

Great work-life balance. Able to work from home if necessary which is useful with small children. Flexibility in work schedule, depending on the department you are able to change the hours you are working to be outside the traditional 8-5, such as leaving early for a long commute or a special activity. Holiday paid time off which can include up to a week (depending on the holiday).

Cons

Expectations and work loads are high and can encroach on family or personal time. Some employees are expected to handle multiple job titles without additional assistance. No room for growth as most of the departments are small and supervisors are reluctant to relinquish power or control over their department. Some supervisors have a tendency to micromanage without the benefit of understanding the product or logic behind certain features. Infrequent to no raises or changes in benefits.

Pros

The software development methodology, standards and practices employed at Allplayers.com are or were excellent. Expectations for software developers were high, but these expectations were entirely achievable given the high caliber of developers they hired and the technology provided to make software development possible.

Cons

The only major downside to working at Allplayers.com is/was some management decisions which appeared to be made in a reactionary manner rather than anticipatory, resulting in a lack of trust in some of the executive leadership.
