Pros
You are a person and an asset, not just an employee. Great room for growth if you work hard and care. PTO, 401k, health care, overtime, Turkey at Thanksgiving, yearly family picnic, holiday party, holiday bonuses for management AND field employees. advancement if desired and you care. 1964- present, the company has maintained, grown, and thrived by the dedication of good employees. The Almstead’s know this, and reciprocate their thanks…more than appropriately. Very happy Employee, from my inception in the industry(2003) , to date. They have educated me and allowed me to grow, and to support my family. Thou I have had MANY offers, I am still here, loving my job, after almost 20 years.
Cons
No job is 100% perfect. (Don’t kidd yourself) It’s a job, and adapting and overcoming normal day to day issues is what makes a valuable employee. The company takes care of of the people who work for them, and “more than” appreciate the people who keep their family business thriving. There are no meaningful “cons” that I can share, or matter, at the end of the day.
