Pros

The power-level employees are pleasant and friendly, and the cooker is great!

Cons

A new employee is initially treated to a brief honeymoon period, during which they enjoy the status of "the rising star" and are granted a budget to purchase equipment and tools to help fulfill their role. As part of onboarding, the newcomer is given a tour of the well-equipped dining and refreshment area. But this phase quickly fades, revealing the company’s true attitude toward employees — a "use and discard" resource. The CEO is an unstable figure prone to managerial whims. There is no sentiment or regard for the energy or emotional investment of dedicated employees who devote themselves fully to their tasks. The company’s strategy is frequently overhauled, and employees hired under the latest direction are laid off at a moment’s notice, only to be replaced by fresh, unsuspecting recruits. Dismissals are carried out in a crude and heartless manner — a routine and vague letter handed to the employee in an envelope at the end of the day, while the manager is conveniently absent. Pure cowardice. The CEO is surrounded by opportunists and flatterers who execute his decrees and thus manage to survive in the company. If you have another option — stay far away.

Pros

Most colleagues seem like decent people, but it’s hard to ignore the fatigue and cynicism caused by the endless cycle of firings and replacements and the overall lack of direction. Meals are provided, and the food is good and healthy.

Cons

This company treats people as disposable. I quickly learned they have no direction, no idea what people within the company are doing, what I'm supposed to do, and that job security is practically nonexistent at Alomone Labs. They fire people abruptly and impersonally, with minimal explanation. Apparently, there is no chance for a fair shimua, and if you do show up, the CEO will belittle you. Do not be fooled by the nice office, the "friendly" HR personnel, and the promise of work-life balance. They say you can come late or work from home, they say they are flexible, but then they act like you did something wrong.

Pros

Fresh, healthy vegetarian/fish lunch served daily. Office is clean and nicely designed.

Cons

Don’t let the modern office and friendly HR fool you — this company is run like a one-man show. The owner-CEO makes impulsive decisions, hiring and firing people based on personal moods rather than any strategic logic. There’s no job security, even for high performers. Firings come suddenly, without warning, and often without clear reason. People who survive here long-term do so by staying invisible and avoiding any attention. It’s not a workplace built on growth, collaboration, or professionalism — it’s a place ruled by fear and instability. Accept a job here only if you have no other option, and make sure to secure a strong notice period clause from day one.
