Pros
- You will make a very solid salary out of college, with bonuses paid out monthly and uncapped (so if you do well, you're doing well) - This job will help you move to Manhattan (see above) - You will become the most efficient npc that the corporate world could ask for. Successful AlphaSights alums actually do well - Comfy office space, free snacks, plus places to hide, cry, and take intro calls with recruiters around the neighborhood! - If you become a manager and stay for a few years, they will pay about 1 year's tuition to a top global business school - no golden handcuffs. 100% the most attractive.
Cons
- If you are not an endurance athlete (especially rowing), you may not survive. If you are an endurance athlete, I dare you to apply (it'll probably work). - The median age of the most senior employee is likely 28. That senior employee spent their entire post-grad career at that company. The median age across managers is likely 25. They have also spent their entire post-grad career at that company. - The skills you will build are barely transferable to an EA, and the expert network industry is almost the more low-key cousin of the recruiting space. - If you quit before you become a manager, you're barely employable. If you quit while you're a manager, you were there too long. (Note: if you quit, you're 100% still employable, and this job doesn't deserve to make anyone doubt their abilities in literally anything.)
