Pros

- I loved working with most of my colleagues - had a chance to work on things with people from other teams and had a really positive experience with senior level members being super helpful and willing to mentor/teach

Cons

- I was criticized for being direct with my questions and pretty much told to be more passive/indirect - something I've been taught to NOT be in the workforce, especially given the demographic I fall into - I asked for clear goals/expectations to aim for, was told "it depends," then criticized for not meeting expectations a few months in. Was not put on a real PIP which was really confusing. The messaging was "you have X months to work on Y things, but we don't think you can do it," and pressured to leave before review time came around. The things they pointed out were things they could have provided me feedback on in the months/weeks before since we had weekly 1:1 reviews, not sure what the purpose of the weekly meetings are if none of these issues were brought up in them previously - came into the company expecting mentorship and growth environment after my interviews, but often told that xyz were things I should know to look up - outside of product/design/engineering, there's pretty much no diversity in this company

Pros

Rapid Progression & Recognition: Performance is directly rewarded here. If you hit your goals and show drive, the path to promotion and career growth is transparent and fast. Strong Team Culture: The team energy is fantastic. Everyone is highly collaborative, supportive, and commercially minded, which makes for a great working environment. High Autonomy: From day one, you are given real ownership over your projects (like leading recruitment events, managing candidates, and driving partnerships), allowing you to grow your commercial skills rapidly.

Cons

High Velocity & Pressure: The work is very fast-paced with strict timelines and high-volume expectations. It is not a place where you can coast, and you need to be comfortable working under commercial pressure. Resilience is Key: Sourcing and recruiting require a great deal of resilience. You have to be comfortable with rejection and persistent in finding creative solutions to hit your targets.
