Pros

AlphaSights has been a fantastic start to my career. I took on a lot of responsibility early, which helped me learn quickly. It was tough at first, but I gained valuable business skills. Plus, their long-term career support was a game-changer: I received a $70k scholarship for an MBA at the London Business School, with no obligation to return to work at AlphaSights. I quickly moved up to Manager, building and leading a team that grew significantly. We drove millions in revenue, supported global expansion, and worked closely with clients. This fast-paced ownership helped me gain a lot of leadership and strategic experience early on. The company has a strong, client-focused culture. Everyone is driven to deliver value for clients. AlphaSights balances hard work with fun, offering regular social events. It's easy to form friendships with smart, supportive colleagues here. I got real global exposure. I worked with diverse teams, managing people from over 10 different nationalities. I connected with thousands of experts globally and even visited the New York and Dubai offices. AlphaSights provided good hands-on training in key skills like communication, leadership, sales, client management, data analysis, presentation, and negotiation. I also gained a good understanding of many global industries.

Cons

Demanding Pace: The work here is very fast-paced and focuses heavily on results. This means you develop quickly and learn to solve problems on your own. It might not be the best fit if you prefer a slower, more structured environment.

Pros

high earnings, competitive pay, young coworkers

Cons

you aren't rewarded with freedom when performing well, hours are unnecessarily long, friday optional WFH makes it barely worth it, plastic corporate culture, lack of investment in true happiness in their employees, lots of degrading cons are masked as "benefits" - you dont gain any specific or transferrable skills and unless you work and think outside of the box regarding skills you could develop, you'll find yourself at square 1 in an SDR role two years out, despite the job not even being a sales role (no, you dont get a strategy consulting gig after this). managers and vps all promoted within, some are very smart and nice but lack of external oversight hurts broadened perspectives
