Pros
Alpine is growing quickly! There has been lost of room for internal movement. For example, going from Personal Lines to Commercial Lines, or from an Account Manager role to an Account Executive role etc.
I can only speak for the Calgary office, but everyone gets along quite well. It truely feels like a family. If one person is falling behind or having a rough day, there is always several people willing to step in to help.
I have not experienced any problems with any level of management whether it be front line managers or the Sr. Management Team. In my experience I have found that management as a whole, is fair.
We have an active Social Committee that puts on fun events and great food throughout the year.
I feel that I am able to have a good work / life balance.

The Alberta Insurance industry as a whole - not specific to brokerage.
