Pros

Alsco prioritizes performance over employee well-being, fostering a cutthroat environment. Employees facing challenges are swiftly let go without constructive feedback or support. The expectation of double shifts and weekend work to meet unrealistic targets adds undue pressure. Moreover, the declining industry and faulty internal systems exacerbate the stressful work culture. Only long-term employees seem to comprehend the chaotic operational structure. Overall, the lack of care for employees and the dysfunctional work environment make working at Alsco a daunting prospect, even with the promise of higher pay.

Cons

1. Lack of Employee Support: Employees feel unsupported and undervalued, leading to low morale and high turnover rates. 2. Abrupt Firing Practices: Termination without prior warning or feedback hampers employee development and job security. 3. Unrealistic Work Expectations: Demanding double shifts, weekend work, and evening shifts to meet targets creates a stressful and unsustainable work environment. 4. Industry Instability: Operating in a declining industry makes it challenging to acquire new customers, adding uncertainty to job security. 5. Dysfunctional Systems: Poorly functioning internal systems and codes hinder employee efficiency and contribute to frustration and inefficiency in daily operations.

Pros

(1) Company is a national company with branches across the US. They have good training processes and SOP's and have invested a lot of time and effort into building excellent training documents for various roles, across various departments, (2) Team members are generally nice and easy to work with

Cons

(1) Overall management at the Brockton branch is terrible, (2) The Brockton branch is by far the worst performing branch, from a financial standpoint, across all branches and regions, (3) Customer Service at the Brockton branch is awful - from direct Service department leadership, to District Manager oversight, to delivery driver performance, (4) Leadership does not *truly* care about the well-being of their employees, even though they talk a good game and pretend they do, (5) Management is only concerned about themselves, no one else, (6) The software they use is very antiquated and they have an internal control structure where requiring certain access or doing any single meaningful task, is like pulling teeth and ends up taking 4-7 steps to complete what you need to complete, (5) turnover at Brockton is high, across various departments
