      Pros

      Everyone who works at Alta Cycling was very friendly and welcoming. Everything you'd want from a bike company. People claim they are paid less than if they were somewhere else, but hard to say. Overall it was a fun group and a PNW staple in the outdoors industry.

      Cons

      Alta Cycling is owned by Regence LLC, a private equity firm headquartered in LA. Regence was deceptive, predatory, and slimy. Every person I interacted with had questionable morals. Even worse, they made terrible business decisions.

      Pros

      Fun people, fun products, feels good to help customers. Good way to get food in the door in the outdoor industry.

      Cons

      Strong, competent leadership was severely lacking. There was little cross-team communication resulting in more false urgency and extra work. Didn't talk to anyone else at the org besides my manager for the first 6 months.
