Pros
Kind and nice co-workers, well intentioned company that has no idea what it is doing.
Cons
There are so many reasons why this is a terrible place to work. - RTO. There was no real reason for disrupting the life of so many people. Jason (CEO) gave some lame reasons in the all hands a few months ago but they were not real reasons. I can say that with confidence as RTO is now in effect. If collaboration and team work were the real reason for getting people in the office we would not run all all hands the way we did last week. Jason and a few presenters literally locked themselves in a tiny room while rest of the employees were literally at their desk at the office on their headphones. How about using the 2nd floor room and get people together to do an all hands. People barely talk to each other. All 7 phone booths are always occupied and we have a single person hogging a 8 person conference room for the entire day. I have heard that there is now an attendance sheet for both office where someone is literally keeping a track of people coming and leaving the office. So much for a high tech company. I have met Jason twice in the kitchen and he had an awkward conversation with me before leaving for his next meeting. I never see him at the office. - The Culver city office used to have a lot of positive energy but it feels like a dead zone now. Everyone keeps to themselves and makes sure they are marked present in the attendance sheet. - Every year I have been here has been an existential crisis for the company. This year is no different. Its always "make" or "break". This tells me that either the business model is bad or the CEO has no idea what he is doing or both.
