I agree with you--the talent we attract is top notch and I’m glad that you liked working with your co-workers. We think that working with people you respect and like is an integral part to a great culture. We have been fortunate to hire and retain people at all stages of their careers. We see people thrive here, whether this is their first job, are mid-career or have dozens of years of experience. We also highly value work life balance and I’m proud that we have several people on our team that are able to balance part-time work schedules with other personal demands and interests.
Thank you also for the feedback on our Leadership Team. There is indeed a long history of our Leadership Team working together. In addition, we continue to make changes to our Leadership Team to bring fresh ideas and insights as well as provide growth opportunities. With Transparency and Trust as one of our core values, we value our employees speaking up when something doesn’t seem right so we can address the issue.
Regarding our salary levels, we have many employees that during their time with us, have developed skills that are highly sought after in the Salesforce.com ecosystem. We have several senior members of the team that are incredible mentors that help our employees grow and learn things besides technical skills Throw in the ability to understand a complex industry like Private Equity and the result are employees that are highly qualified to be successful in many different roles.
We do our best to keep regular tabs on overall industry salary ranges and pay our employees competitively.
In addition to competitive salaries, we continue to look at the entire package that we offer employees, including flexibility, work life balance and amazing benefits. Based on employee feedback, we made recent changes to our bonus plan and flexible time off policy, and hope to continue to evolve our benefits to meet the needs of our team. We’ve had multiple employees that left and decided to come back, realizing that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.
I have never been more excited about where we are as a company than I am today. While we have had great employees that have decided to move on, the level of skill, commitment, excitement and potential of the team that we currently have assembled is unmatched in our 13-year history.
