Pros
Good medical benefits and a 401k program. The other pros I have are from the past. Sheridan Healthcare used to be a great company to work for. My department had great leadership and a true sense of team. We knew what our jobs were and we did them well.
Cons
The lack of leadership in our department leaves everyone wondering how to do their jobs. Most of us wonder if we will lose our jobs due to a lack of performance on the part of our managers. We all know what roles down hill and unfortunately our department sits at the bottom of the hill. Our department has been completely turned upside down as of late and we are suffering. A team is only as good as their captain (manager) and our captains are lacking. Never in my life have I worked in an environment where management rolls their eyes and huffs at you because you have a questions about the new process & new software program that all took effect on the same day! You cannot go to management about the problems because they are the problems. You cannot go above them because you have to worry about the consequences. You cannot go to HR for the same reason. Disorganized chaos is what we go into every day.
