Pros

Flexible schedule. It’s great when you get a delivery outside of Denver where there’s minimal traffic and a reasonable amount of packages to deliver. People at delivery stations are often very nice. It’s also a good experience to learn the surrounding areas better.

Cons

Delivering in downtown Denver often takes way longer to complete a scheduled block than what Amazon flex predicts. The app does not take into account for traffic or inconveniences while delivering, yet it affects your personal rating if you do not complete deliveries on time. Often deliveries are already late when you pick them up. 48 packages to be delivered in the city at all different stops in 3 hours is nearly impossible with traffic during rush hour.

Pros

Ability to work during hours of light traffic. Working independently. Beautiful scenery. Fair rating system.

Cons

Wear and tear on personal vehicle. Warehouse/check in associates can be rude. You may be required to return back to the station for no additional pay. The insurance they provide does not cover accidents. Pay has gone down. Limited block availability. Drivers restricted to certain zones now
