Pros

Competitive salary. Health, dental, vision insurance. Decent 401k match. Use of latest automation, technology. Free food, snack, cakes on birthdays and other random occasions. Very easy, unchallenging, straightforward work.

Cons

Some overnight staff consists of inexperienced pharmacists with little to no clinical knowledge. Some have less than stellar social skills, hygiene issues, and there are unprofessional techs who use vulgar language regularly (n-word). There are frequent changes in management due to weak support system for leadership roles. Constant issues with inventory, due to delegating tasks to unskilled personnel who have trouble understanding set protocols.

Pros

+ No Customers/Chill Work (compared to Retail Pharmacy) + Scrubs/Uniforms Aren't Required + 15 Minute Breaks + 30 Minute Lunch + Most Holidays Off or Half-Day + Optional Voluntary Time Off + Optional Over Time Shifts + Tenure Raise (Every 6 months until 3 Year Cap) & Random Raises + Health, Eye & Dental Insurance Options + Vacation, Paid Time Off, & Unpaid Time Hours + Leave of Absence Options & School Schedule Accommodation + School Tuition Coverage & Adoption/Family Assistance + Security & Assigned Lockers

Cons

- Long 10.5 Hour Shifts - Low Motivation / Engagement - Monotonous/Boring Work It's chill at first. Then it gets boring and every day drags on after a while. Especially if they put you in the same 1 or 2 duties every shift for a month. It would be fine if we at least got our own headphones to pass the time by, but only have a shared work radio with the same 5+ year old playlist. - No Growth Unless you want to become a Manager or Assist them, there's no other positions to really get promoted to. The $1-$3 raise isn't really worth it for overworking more hours. You can just get certificates/degree & try for other positions at other sites or companies after. - Bad Communication between Leadership, HR & Workers - Treated like a Number by Higher Ups & Company (Ignore or cut you off) - Monitored for lunches, breaks & restroom breaks - Ignoring Work Criticism on Slack & Hiding VOA Board Messages - Manager Favoritism & Work Shift Cliques (Only certain workers get shout-outs, birthday celebrations, food, positions, etc.) - Assigned HR can be very Dismissive & Unhelpful - More Restricted than other Amazon Warehouses (No headphones, no hoodies, no baggy clothes, only transparent water bottles.) - Weird Tensions cause drama amongst coworkers & managers If you keep to yourself and don't mind strict rules/monitoring, then this place is good stable pay to save up for a while.
