Pros
Good salary and good benefits
Cons
Facilities in Zapopan are shitty, water always dripping everywhere, building is bad, parking is bad only a handful of employees have parking badge even when offices are located in one of biggest malls in the city. 12 hr shifts are the worst, most companies have 3 geographies attending their 24/7 operations, Amdocs only has 2 (mostly India vs some other location) which means your team will be responsible for whatever happens in that 12hr range of the day, so if someone is out on leave, or sick or for any reason you're the only person in the team, then you have to work 12 hrs a day every day, even on weekends. They don't train people properly, they just hire people and throw them under the bus to start working on tickets. There is no documentation and very few people that know the products so you really struggle to know how to fix something, you need to figure out things on your own or ask for scraps of information to whoever wants and has the availability to help you (which in most cases is none or close to none). Management is more focused on having a short list of defects on their products so the reviews with the client go smoothly, so they allow big gaps in design and flaws in their software to go undetected or not properly followed up for months even years. Their software is not stable and has a lot of flaws, so when everything finally blows up because the client cannot tolerate it anymore, they just ask people in support teams to work extenuating long hours for weeks or months to resolve what was covered up for months. Bad leadership, very few experts, few documentation, people with real knowledge don't share it.
