      Pay structure behind the times - Case Manager Amedisys Employee Review

      Pros

      - Great experience with coworkers and the team I worked with. - Direct manager was understanding and tried his best.

      Cons

      The absolute worst pay structure for home health. They still use an outdated "pay per visit" model. Every other home health agency I know of have moved to hourly or salary structure. If census is low, you are out of pay and they won't do anything about it. Constant business office meddling to question your scheduling and why you haven't seen someone by a certain time without any regard to the patient/family wishes.

      No weekends ever, paid holidays, responsive and easy to contact management, great pay

      Typical cons with any home health PT job.

      Pros

      Manage your own day, rarely any office over site, can work your day as you need, good benefits.

      Cons

      Too worried about productivity, and what insurance covers and doesn’t cover, fell like it’s more about the money and not the patient care.
