Pros

Great company to work for. The company's culture is very welcoming and makes you want to do your best. Amegy truly cares about its employees.

Cons

Nothing negative to mention. It was a good company to work for, only left due to personal reasons.

Pros

Culture, laid back, they’re a giving bank to the community

Cons

No diversity! Sad when you look around at the officer’s meeting just to see only 10 Minorities max. Management positions are hardly held by minorities. It’s absolutely hard getting promoted and it’s so discouraging. I’ve been there for a few years and passed up for promotions for external applicants because “I wasn’t ready” or because I don’t volunteer or talk enough when I’m at meetings. They keep changing the managers roles. BSM’s are now being told that in order to get promoted they need to be doing everything the BM’s do daily when that was never the case until this year. There’s so many opening right now but instead of applying and wasting my time, I prefer looking elsewhere.
