Pros

You can learn and work on any technology of the domain you want, Either Networking/ Database/ Unix/ Or anything with in the team. Because there is no proper transition or knowledge sharing done, So what ever you come up with will have to work ! So you will learn every thing by logging in and browsing through or experimenting on the production client environment ;) If you make mistakes so simple your monthly bonus is out (Well now it is almost not there, Even some pennies you earn will be gone)

Cons

* No proper perks any more. * No HR policy. * You will be treated like slave. * No onsite opportunity. * No Work life balance. * Every team have their own policy * Every manager have their own policy, Even they have their own policy for the folks they like. * If you are joining a team in India, Be ready to be treated like a slave and listen to what ever management out there in their western boundaries say (Mostly from the folks out there in US). 99% of employees are unhappy, Company feel Automation and some tools they have will make the difference and bring business. (Yes it does, But don't you think other companies are smarter than you ? Companies started and have same experience of yours are far better out there in the market and have better turn around) Reason - They value their employees, don't hurt them or treat them like slaves and pose them with some crazy six sigma policies, Or short staffed labor policies, More of all crazy team policies (Well there is no common HR policies out here for gods sake). Even senior management will get scared, Whether it is right or wrong if a Manager from US sends out an email to them you will be in trouble. And when it comes to Western offices, If you are close to the CxO level folks and they like you. You will soon be in a managerial level or with designation you want, Well where you will even have privilege to change your designation on the go what you like ;) Who cares whether that person is high school pass out or some one with out technical knowledge to have that designation. To be frank, If you have an offer with top MNC's even with cheap pay and average designation, Better sacrifice your career with cheap pay and join. You will have great work life balance with nice buddies around you. By working there you will get time to learn, Do certifications and get some nice onsite opportunities, More of all you will be treated with nice common HR policies and people will treat you like Humans not some Automation or labors. IPsoft used to be a good company once, (Those times are Loooooooong gone). So you better open your eyes and check out for some other companies to improvise your career than spoiling your life with selfish, scared crazy management here which will treat you so cheap irrespective of your experience level and domains you have expertise with. Well specially when you are an experienced chap please avoid, If you don't know a technology even a fresher can start to tease you, You will be forced to learn it and get expertise with it. With in days you will have to pick up a client escalation ticket of that domain, Which you don't know a thing about. Things to remember: ************************ * HR promises will not be kept once you join the company/ team. (Specially rewards programs and the extra perks you are promised with in variable or even zero at times). * Be ready to be treated like an Automation or with cheap tickets irrespective of your experience level. * Be ready to work on new technologies (Future will take you to "Jack of All, Master of None"). * Be ready to be posed with cheap questions when you raise your voice against management * Be ready to be offended with cheap immoral words and "F" words from management when they scold you. Well yes they scold you and treat you like a school kid ! Where as when you ask for training they come up with an explanation we are not running a school but business !!

Pros

They used to have monthly happy hours and events to keep people happy

Cons

Salary is low, expectations are high. Most engineering was moved off shore when the AI did not do well. Funding seemed to have been cut and events have been cut as well
