Pros

Never in my nearly 30 year PM career have I encountered worse ownership/leadership than I did with this company. I am SHOCKED at the FEW good people who hang around. R0nnie will bankrupt his own company and take his family down with him due to his huge EGO.

Cons

RONNIE! His own worst enemy. If he continues conducting business this way, he will go back to where he came from with the same $200...$500...he came with. NOT a business man.

Pros

I have nothing but great things to say about American Communities. If you work hard and do your job you will love it here. I have been treated with nothing but kindness and respect from day one. Hard work is rewarded and recognized on a regular basis. The people I work for and with are simply the best!

Cons

No cons come to mind!

Pros

You’ll meet a lot of great people along the way but don’t get too attached, turnover is extremely high.

Cons

Yes, you can make money here but only as long as you don’t make too much. If management finds out you’re a hard worker, expect to be worked into the ground with little to no additional compensation. The company’s biggest failure is leadership and those lacking basic property management knowledge. Because of this, a lot of genuinely talented employees have walked away. They will frequently tells stories about working a 100% commission car sales job, apparently believing that qualifies them to run a complex property operation. The comparison is laughable. Most employees have learned to nod, smile, and quietly mock the absence of common sense. Certain positions are not the result of education, skill, or merit, but circumstances best left unexplained. Discontent with leadership is widespread from the corporate office to onsite property teams. While many are polite, the disdain is well known behind closed doors.
