Pros

American Data Network is an awesome place to work. I actually left a couple years ago for another business opportunity and ended up coming BACK. (And I'm not the only one who's done that.) Not only were they not bitter, they welcomed me back as if I'd never left. The CEO actually told me he likes to invest so much in each employee's growth that they would be able to leave because of new skills and knowledge they have (but hopes that we won't). They are very supportive of continuing education and lets employees work collaboratively with their manager to determine new things to learn based on their interest. They're also very careful about hiring for attitude and talent, which makes it a great team to be around (and I think customers sense that attitude and commitment as well). Everyone is super super competent in their respective skillset, which is great because it's much more fun working with talented people. I think people do much better work if they work for a well-led and motivated team. They are very respectful of work life balance. Full-time employees also have "Flex Fridays," meaning every other week, you get Friday off. The salaries are very competitive and the turnover is super low. They're very intentional about corporate culture. But unlike a lot of companies, they don't do that by inauthentic team building picnics and stuff. (We do have team building outings and events, but that's not what they see as the main way to build a good team culture.) Instead they understand that the heart of a company's culture is the health of the relationship between each manager and each of his or her employees. I learned that from one of they books the CEO recommended I read "First Break All The Rules." I'm asked on a weekly basis if I have everything I need to do my job well. The benefits are also excellent – the best of any place I've worked.

Cons

Since it's a healthcare data application and services company, there's a decent learning curve if you don't come from a healthcare background. But if you aren't afraid of a challenge, it's nothing that can't be learned.

Pros

The company culture/atmosphere is great. Professional yet relaxed, everyone treats you like family (the kind you like). The leadership is very thoughtful of the employees and show great competence.

Cons

PTO could be better (benefits are given through parent company, Baptist Health)
