Pros

It’s a job…. You do collect a paycheck after all.

Cons

This company will continue to plummet in all aspects, first off all of their customers are angry and rightfully so, this company screws them over in so many ways and makes everything so difficult for them to resolve the issue. The only reason why they’re still alive is because they partner with Costco. The average employee answering calls all day and is constantly under stress to meet unrealistic metrics to get a bonus, hammered by management to have better performance, all while getting yelled and harassed by customers. The company claims to have all the resources to help you, yet when you ask for help, they all point the finger at each other as if it’s not their responsibility on how to guide you. You’re expected to know everything all on your own, and if you don’t, you will get called on for it. All the representatives are always in a bad mood when you transfer calls, everyone is avoiding calls, all while customers keep yelling at you. Most days are busy from the get-go, you don’t have any breathing space in between calls, and if you need to use the restroom, good luck there goes your adherence. Along with no breathing space in between calls, you are expected to keep up with emails, feedback, and companywide notifications while you’re on calls. There is absolutely no breathing time. There is absolutely no PTO Forget about taking a holiday off There is absolutely no work life balance

Pros

Hired as remote, wonderful manager who encourages and aids career growth. My team is fantastic, the work life balance & flexibility works very well for me.

Cons

Felt like a bait & switch situation pretty soon after being hired, we were then told that we will be hybrid 50% of the time in office. Those of us who were hired as remote were required to live within 30-50 miles of an office are required to be in office 10 days a month starting this fall. But some were hired that live outside those parameters? So that requirement ended up not being true? The timing of it felt planned for my onboarding group I guess. And when complaints aired (obviously) upper management held forums in which they basically said “we gave you enough of a heads up, nothing you say is impacting our decision.” That’s really the only thing that has bothered me working here. We’ll see how it goes in the fall!
