Pros

Pay is decent; most people are nice

Cons

Leaders preach transformation yet lack the backbone necessary to actually change anything because of fear. Change is difficult and takes strength of character, knowledge and experience. This is a very sales driven, good ole boy company where minorities and women will not be valued. Frustrations run amuck with the employees that perform the frontline work. Middle management has no support from top line leaders. Priorities shift constantly and ATD seems to be having an identity crisis. Tire distributor? Tech company? Logistics company? No one knows anymore. Meantime, the core business model is crumbling. There are so many opportunities brought before leadership where real differences could be made. These changes will not be easy, but they are not impossible either. At the end of the day the results of a few changes would be less fraud, less lost revenue, happier employees, efficient work and controlled processes. The very thing the leaders say they want. Not a day goes by that someone says “that’s just the way it is at ATD” or if you ask an employee why they do something they say they’ve been doing that task for the last 20 years and have no idea the reason. Performance is not monitored and socializing is rampant. Accountability is non-existent. If you challenge leadership, disagree, or point out why they may be incorrect, it will be met with petty behavior even when the employee is trying to make improvements. ATD runs on fear (of repercussion and change) , favoritism, ignorance, arrogance and withholding reality of the situation.

Pros

Its remote setup and competitive pay for the tasks involved. While there is a learning curve, the job becomes straightforward once you memorize the systems. The experience is further improved by great managers who provide a supportive environment for their teams.

Cons

The environment is high-pressure due to strict QA standards and a low tolerance for errors. There are numerous complex guidelines that must be followed precisely, which can feel restrictive for those who prefer less micromanagement or more creative freedom in their workflow.

Pros

Aside from the lack of professionalism, great company to work for, great benefits, easy work. Great company to move up in if you just focus on work and do more than what's asked of you.

Cons

Lack of professionalism A lot of favoritism going on. High turn over rate No direct access to HR HR is only there to help the company/ big bosses not the employee who drive forklift who work hard everyday
