      Bad culture and bullying - Manager Americold Logistics Employee Review

      Interesting industry global company well known company

      Cons

      Real hierarchy throughout business so many senior managers not sure most of there jobs really needed. Awful culture lots of bullying, treat staff very badly, no care or kindness towards staff, senior management very untrustworthy, protecting their big roles and excessive salaries. Coolstores are old, aging assets bit like there management. Needs a takeover and big clean out of management replaced with new upcoming managers that are more capable and build a better culture and treat hardworking staff with respect.

      1. Excellent PTO. 2. Great manager and DO at my location. 3. Decent work-life balance.

      Cons

      1. Large pay discrepancies between facilities (to the tune of $40k) between associates doing the same job. 2. Frequent implementation of policies or technologies that are either non-beneficial, time wasting, or fixing things that were not broken. I would admit there may be legitimate reasons for a lot of these, but if so they are either being poorly explained or not at all. 3. Failure to recognize the importance of individuals at the site-level and the impact they have in the facility.
