-To say Amica is not adequately staffed is an understatement. The amount of people who are quitting on a weekly basis is staggering. This is not just in the service department. The claims department is losing people left and right and many are retiring early. This in turn creates a massive backlog of work for the current reps. I sincerely believe Amica is reaching an inflection point here and there is a real possibility they won’t be able to weather this storm. Upper management refuses to listen to feedback and keeps doubling down on bad decisions (see the reviews the last 6 months). People are NOT quitting due to the “great resignation”….they are quitting due to too many changes implemented at once and the insane stress level.
-Pay is below industry standard
-Micromanaged every second of every day
-Horrible morale. So much so that the company had to offer a “retention bonus” (that name alone is insulting) for employees who don’t quit before 12/1/2021. What kind of message does that send to the employees?
