      Pros

      Work / Life Balance is a real thing here. I was skeptical at first but once it sunk in, it was mind-blowing! This is only possible because different perspectives are actually welcomed and encouraged in all aspects of the company and product. We have a tight deadline to meet? Sure, let's sit down as a team and explore the ways we can accomplish that. Will process change help? If yes, let’s change it. The scope is unreasonable for a timeframe? Let’s cut it. That highlights one of the greatest Amitree pros. Everyone is willing to challenge, change and improve everything we do and touch.

      If there were any, they were short-lived.

      Pros

      It's not like anywhere I've ever worked. The trust, transparency and lack of politics is pretty incredible. Everyone on the team impresses me regularly and will do anything to help each other.

      Cons

      You need to understand that it's a fully distributed team and that may not work for everyone. I love it but I can definitely see that it may not be for everyone. Need to be comfortable working autonomously and asynchronously

      Pros

      The entire team, from the founders to the engineering staff, are focused, smart, and open. The process is heavily influenced by Pivotal, so if you like that process you will like the process at Amitree. The company has excellent focus- everyone knows what they need to do.

      Cons

      As an engineer, the technical challenges are not always the most exciting. Some of the trickiest bits have to do with Gmail integration which can be painstaking.
