Great for college students and labor union seekers - Field Representative Amnesty International Employee Review

Pros

Working at Amnesty International as a Field Representative was an enriching experience for any social justice advocate, needing a union job, and who wants a crash course on interpersonal communication. The staff are young, enthusiastic, and are very welcoming to all LGBTQ, non-citizens (green card holders), and activists of all stripes.

Cons

When workers become focused on their quotas they may become alienated from their fellow workers, managers, customers, and products. However, the quota is quite low, co-workers often help one another once their quota is met, and there is a review period for one to catch up.

It was great. Working with mission-driven individuals is always a great motivator. Everyone was pleasant to work with.

Cons

None. Everything that was stated in the JD is what I got and experienced.
