Pros

Some fantastically talented and friendly people working together to get this start-up off the ground. All massively supportive of each other despite toxic management. Everyone believes in the product - if some of the fundamentals change, it has the potential to be an amazing company.

Cons

Progress made impossible thanks to the CEO. Rather than letting staff get on with the job he is constantly changing priorities, dropping and picking up new agencies, overlooking the expertise of staff and changing peoples job remit, roles and titles against their will. Speak up or argue to do what is right, and you get let go. We've lost a dozen or so people in the last few months because of this. Expectation to cancel holidays, work evenings, weekends and drop personal plans when requested and with very little notice. Dodgy practices going on because people are being forced by management to go against best practices.

Pros

Great work culture. Employees including management were great.

Cons

Not really any cons. I just decided to go back into my field of passion.

Pros

Benefits, tons of different health/dental/vision plans to choose from and stock options. They are constantly offering bonuses that arent just going to the same #1 agent, doing small competitions for cash bonuses that keep morale up and adjusting the bonus structure in the employees favor when they realize things are out of agent control, plus having a base pay that keeps us on track in slow months. The company is teaching agents and their customers the actual product knowledge they need to make informed decisions.

Cons

No retirement options, base pay is ok (like 40k) but the commission structure isnt great, but for seasoned employees theres room to increase it, so its not bad, but benefits make up for it, and the company is newer to the industry so you have to prove yourself a little more with some clients and theres some glitches with the technology aspect and its constantly a learning curve.
