Not paying salary for 2–3 months is unethical and illegal in most cases
Blaming “performance” after not paying is usually an excuse
Proper companies give clear feedback, warnings, and improvement plans before any action
Salary cannot be withheld just because expectations weren’t met (unless clearly defined in contract, and even then limited)
What you should do:
Check your offer letter / employment contract
Keep proof: emails, chats, attendance, work delivered
Send a formal written request for pending salary
If no response, you can file complaint with the Labour Commissioner / labour court
