Toxic environment No sick days You’re on salary but you have to work at least 40h/week to get paid in full Expected to stay late Too much drama and gossip Inappropriate behavior is allowed Most projects are for family members of the owners so you have to put up with them being disrespectful. No 401k Barely any PTO and they get mad if you take it No superintendents for your projects No bonus opportunities because how could you meet the criteria if you have no site supervisor and every project has huge scope gaps
