Pros
I am not here to advocate for or against Anchor really. Staffing is a unique industry, whether it is this company or another. Some people really love staffing and some really don't. People have their rights to give valid issues with their employer but I did want to note a few things - I do not own the company.
First, in a commission and bonus job - what you can make and what you will make is based on effort. No perspective employees are told a definitive dollar amount here other than their salary. Basically, no one is lied to about how much money they will make because no one here knows how hard an employee will work.
Cons
No one here has ever trained 100 people because we have only hired about 40-50 internally over 11 years. The reviews here are 5 of those 50 people. There have been one or two of those that were in fact fired in short amount of time but no one was terminated without cause. Actually, the owners give people much more of a chance than competitors and take into account the people and the numbers but bottom line, we are a sales organization. The owners are the only ones here with the authority to terminate anyone so employee speculation and rumor-based opinions shouldn’t be something anyone takes as fact
There is a likelihood that people will work long hours here but if employees accomplish a reasonable amount of productive work, most are gone by 5:30p and I haven’t seen anyone here over the weekend in years. On the opposite end, if you are driven by financial gain, you can choose to work harder and perhaps longer and be rewarded financially for it. Finally, we have really only ever opened 3 offices, 2 of which are still open – you can google both.
