Pros

Remote work is nice, plus monthly internet+phone stipend.

Cons

- Salary is decent, other benefits are bad (e.g. pricey insurance, no bonus) - Very inexperienced managers - A weird cross between "startup mentality" (aka confusion and no structure) but also being a relatively large company (1000 HC) with micromanagers - Terrible for productivity. Chromebooks with tiny screens and cheapo software that doesn't work well (DayForce, Notion, clunky cloud workstations), flaky deploy pipeline, and more - Big culture of AI slop and tokenmaxxing

Pros

You can genuinely work from anywhere. The company fully backs this, and it is a massive perk Operating in the crypto industry keeps the daily work exciting and fast-paced

Cons

The Hero Culture where long tenured employees build unstable products or workflows that break constantly. When they fix their own mistakes, they get celebrated. This endless cycle stunts actual progress Different departments rarely interact. When they do, there is noticeable friction and dislike between groups. Product: Viewed as incompetent. Roadmaps stretch on forever without clear conclusions Engineering: Overwhelmed by constantly shifting priorities, leading to widespread apathy Operations: Highly political and resistant. They focus on internal battles instead of helping the business scale Finance: Mostly perceived as whiny and suffering from deer in a headlight syndrome Marketing: Entirely performative. Minor, routine tasks are treated like winning the Super Bowl HR: Oh, let us not even go here
