Pros

My first week was so exciting. First day there was a meet and greet breakfast and I met with each niche of the company to hear what they do. It was so positive, I couldn't believe I was lucky enough to join such a great firm. They even assign a 'buddy' to go to with questions. Lots of positive influence in community, but more to get feather in cap than to really benefit others.

Cons

Second week was the start of the decline. The pretentiousness began to show. My 'buddy' was my supervisor and way too busy to be bothered by a newbie. Questions were left unanswered and no clear insight was given about expectations or how systems were set up. I understand about billing time for client work, but if boss thought hours were too high for a client, they would change them. Then you fall short on billing time. No win situation, can't learn or try to figure things out on your own and bill clients at the same time. Not willing to work toward success of new employee. Insurance was terrible.

Pros

Some benefits like the wellness program A few coworkers left that care

Cons

Lack of transparency even though they claim it as one of their core values. HR is very slow to respond to inquiries and upper leadership rarely gets back to you. I’ve been here for 10+ years and it’s sad to see how Anders has become just another corporate company. My team has been cut down which has led to overworked staff (and in other departments too). They use to really value the individuals team member, but I’ve seen three let go who they didn’t care to find other positions for.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. Hearing concerns about transparency and workload is not something we dismiss. Supporting individual team members remains important, even as the firm continues to grow. We encourage you to speak to your coach or your family tree leader about your concerns. Transparency remains a priority, and we are continuing to work on how it shows up day to day. That includes creating additional avenues for internal communication to improve visibility into decisions and changes, and more space for team members to share perspectives.
