Open office hours with leadership is a simple outflow of this, but you'll also find that its fairly easy to approach other team members and discuss any technical or nontechnical issues of interest in a friendly manner. On the technical side, strong filter against 'ego-driven' development; peer review of both design and implementation is the default approach. At the same time, you'll be able to grow into a subject matter expert in a particular area of the codebase over time if you desire. Not a great fit if you'd like an experience where work is 'thrown over the wall' to another team, you will be expected to take responsibility for the work which you deliver (con, depending on your preferences). Company culture is understanding of parents as well.

Its not Google, so no free lunches. You will get a well stocked snack cabinet, though.
