Not for everyone- Definitely not for me - Sales Consultant Angi Employee Review

Pros

Trainers were very happy positive and upbeat

Cons

Everything else. The sales pitch is one call close or DONE (they did not disclose this during the interview process) The CRM system is full of people who have been called and hounded countless times. Once you are on a team you are expected to be on camera with the sound up hearing everyone pitch other calls at the same time. (Also never disclosed during the interview) I hated it. And I have been in telephone sales for 12+ years. Good Luck!

Thanks for leaving a review and for your praise of our trainers! While we're happy training was a high point of your career here, we are sorry to hear about the rest of your experience while with us. Our managers care about their team's success and are dedicated to helping individuals become future top performers. They do this through having our QA team listen in to calls in order to provide valuable feedback as well as equip sales representatives with additional training tools to help with call conversion. We're sorry you did not have a great experience while here and wish you the best in your next role! - Tom Cheatham, SVP Sales Strategy

Cons

A lot of org changes over the years has been somewhat difficult to navigate at times.

Pros

Good flexibility with remote work and PTO.

Cons

Revolving door of leadership and talent in general. They had an initiative to consolidate their brands under one platform, told their employees they wouldn't be replaced after finishing it, then decided to layoff 75% of their staff afterwards (blaming it on AI). Good luck ever getting promoted or a sizable raise when you get a new manager every 6 months. Higher level roles are almost always hired externally rather than promoted internally. Anyone who has worked closely to the product roadmap and finance can clearly see revenue declining year over year. A sinking ship to definitely avoid.
