-Managers are expected to be the experts over everything their reports are working on. Since this is not realistic managers resort to getting debriefs and foot notes from employees to use in hierarchical meetings.
-I was told I cannot communicate with my managers boss, that anything i needed should go through my direct manager.
-Low technology maturity - when using even internal systems there is a running joke that nothing is intuitive.
