Pros
As a waiter you are expected to adhere to the highest standards, and need to have excellent eye for detail, you get paid fairly in return. The company really invests in their staff by providing many trainings. I've received wine and champagne tastings, caviar tastings, allergy trainings, health and safety trainings etc.
Cons
Even though the pay is competitive the tipping system is highly unfair. You are expected to turn in all the cash and card tips for the night and will only be paid about half of the total at the end of the month. They claim the rest of the tips go to BOH but no one knows for sure.. Also Staff retention is super poor, waiters are quitting every few months which is a shame as there's continuously new people starting and leaving there isn't a close-knit team.
