Pros

If you want to work sales then this job would be good. If you think you are going in to marketing then stay away.

Cons

'marketing' is misleading, This is for a sales job that has a very high turnover. You work long hours for what is basically minimum wage.

Pros

A few people were quite friendly.

Cons

Everything else. Looking back, I wish I had known how much of a scam this really was. However, I learned a valuable lesson at my time there. -They neglect to tell you that you will have to spend up to FIVE hours a day driving, only to spend several hours standing on a costco floor selling useless junk very few people actually want. They won't reimburse you for travel, by the way. -They flat out lie to you in your interviews. You'll be selling on costco floors your entire time there, so you better get used to it. There's no real Public Relations or marketing, it's straight sales. -They are incredibly unprofessional. If you suggest a change, they will not accept it. If you question any of their unethical practices, prepare to be verbally abused. Upon my leaving, I was told to have fun being a failure. -You are expected to "network" 24/7. I refused to participate in conference calls while driving on the turnpike, and I was almost fired for "not being motivated" enough. -Zero benefits. You will lose money working this job. -They teach you to hold unrealistic goals. It's one thing to aim high and push yourself, but it's another to drive people into the ground chasing goals that don't exist.
