Pros
I am part of the team at AnyGood?, and have known two co-founders before my employment here. They are both witty, excellent people to work for, and I was incredibly excited to start working here.
I go home from work happy every single day. Here, my ideas matter and my suggestions are taken seriously. I have never been nervous to present changes, or wary of approaching management with feedback and updates. There is no shouting, emotional blackmail, or passive aggressive emails. There are no office politics or confusing corporate structures. There’s lots of exposure to different kinds of job roles, my tasks are varied and I have complete ownership of everything I’m doing. I’m also learning a lot, noticeably things that I would not have the opportunity to learn until much later in my career if I had stayed in larger, more corporate structures.
The office is fun: I go home everyday with a new story to tell, or a different song stuck in my head. I always look forward to coming into the office (although working from home is excellent too). Previously, I’ve had roles where I’ve actually dreaded going into work, but at AnyGood?, I could not be happier with the employers or company I work for. The office is close knit with a family feel... without any nepotism or the expectation you'll regularly work late 'as a favour'. Achievements are always celebrated, big or small, personal or professional.

Cons
Perhaps there will be cons in the future, however, nothing has come to light yet. The company is small and growing, and the culture is open and honest. I am comfortable and confident that any problems would be dealt with swiftly.
