Pros

Some of the people and partners, who make the challenges manageable.

Cons

Current Leadership Hypocrisy of Company Policies (Ex. Attract/Retain Best Talent vs. Hostile Performance Management Practices) Race to the Bottom Mentality (Cheapest Costing for ALL Services) Outsourcing of EVERYTHING, sole focus is Stock Price and Executive Compensation Company demoralizes and undervalues it's most precious assets while management tries to figure ways to cut even more out of operations they don't understand or care to understand. Oh, did I add that current leadership has ZERO experience in managing the Business Operations that are their responsibility?! Aon is a Global Commercial Insurance Brokerage and Re-Insurance Firm. NO ONE IN CURRENT LEADERSHIP (COO, CIO, CTO, Operations Leader, CISO and many, many more) HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE IN THESE INDUSTRIES AND MARKETS.

Pros

Great role to transition into the insurance industry. Many resources and opportunities to expand technical knowledge. Client visits are great if you like to travel. Lucky to have a manager who doesn’t micromanage. If you’re organized, driven, and good at communicating you’ll do great.

Cons

Can be stressful at times around busy renewal cycles. Travel often depending on industry and clients.
