Pros

Working in office is not enforced Good structure for junior consultants to learn on the job Easy to transfer offices and departments if you network well internally

Cons

Hours tracking Constant leadership turnover (I had 8 bosses in 5 years) Complainers and toxic employees get promoted/rewarded at a shockingly high rate Poor performance is not dealt with by leadership, they avoid dealing with them and just pass them along to other teams and offices, which is a huge strain on high performers Leadership believes “C level work” is acceptable

Pros

Great role to transition into the insurance industry. Many resources and opportunities to expand technical knowledge. Client visits are great if you like to travel. Lucky to have a manager who doesn’t micromanage. If you’re organized, driven, and good at communicating you’ll do great.

Cons

Can be stressful at times around busy renewal cycles. Travel often depending on industry and clients.
