Pros

You will learn a lot about Adobe, Excel, and digital to print. You will also get lots of practice producing files quickly and in large numbers.

Cons

"Mean girls" environment. Sketchy and illegal acts by the company. micromanagement beyond anything I have ever seen. Coworkers sabotage each other's work sometimes in order to win over the boss. HR is a joke.

Pros

Worked for Aperion for ten plus years as a graphic design artist. Worked directly for the Creative Director (the wife), who really knew her stuff and had a great sense for what the company's customers wanted. I was always treated with respect, was never treated unfairly and loved every minute of my time working for the company. The new office in Newport Beach backs up to a golf course, has an amazing patio and open air feeling that is really inspiring. Great atmosphere and amazing coworkers as well as very understanding and considerate owners.

Cons

As a graphic design artist, I was not always able to produce the works I wanted as I had to create works that the company's customers wanted. Not as much creative freedom as I would have liked. Design requirements are dictated by customers, so limited ability to create designs that were "outside the box".

Pros

WARNING!! DO NOT WORK HERE!!! There are no pros.

Cons

Husband and wife owners... Beware of the wife she is a bully, extremely mean and degrading and will work you to the bone. This job pays nothing. No matter how much you push and try to make impossible deadlines she will never compliment you and only wants more and more until you have not an ounce of energy left. NOTHING was ever good enough! Breaks were non existent... they say you can take them but are frowned upon if you took one ESPECIALLY if there's an important deadline. Needless to say important deadlines ran on a daily basis and I very rarely took lunch breaks. Worked extremely long hours 10 hour days were the norm and I did not get paid overtime!!! They also have a dog that barks all day long! Very stressful workplace. They broke every labor law in the book.... Shady business. It goes down in my history of jobs as the absolute worst place I've ever worked!
