BEWARE OF THIS "JOB"... you are basically a door to door salesmen trying to take homes that are worth $250k or more to set an appointment for someone to come to thier house and sell them windows. You approach million dollar homes in neighborhoods with no soliciting signs AT NIGHT while people are eating dinner. They expect you to work from 4-8pm and knock on 20 doors to get 2 appointments that you swt by driving all over the city using your own gas with zero reimbursement. You get paid ONLY COMMISSION if the appointment you set gets sold on windows by someone else. One week I set 10 appts and only 2 ran, 1 person bought. Also, pay is incredibly unstable. Just because they tell you it's a sale and it goes on the board does not mean you will get paid because "things happen." I went 3 weeks with no paycheck yet had atleast one sell each of those weeks that something happened to so I didn't get paid. NO HEALTH INSURANCE. YOUR 1099 SO DONT EXPECT EVEN MINIMUM WAGE ---- PLUS ----- EXPECT TO OWE A LOT OF TAXES BECAUSE THEY DONT TAKE THEM OUT FOR 1099 JOBS. They will dangle the Senior Partner carrot in front you and talk about how Senior Partners make six figures, yet, thier Junior Partners barley survive. In my 2 months there were 8 people who left because they couldn't afford food to eat. Seriously, this place ruiened my life. I lost my apartment and was close to loosing my car because I was oversold and LEFT A $50K/YR JOB TO NOT GET PAID EVEN MINIMUM WAGE in my interview they showed me senior partner checks of like $4k/wk... I was immensely duped. UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT WORK HERE. Even if your desperate, be careful. This is not a serious job, this is a "ok cool I'm semi employed" position. Unless your a 23 yr old male who doesn't mind knocking on doors all night THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOU!!!!!!!!! (SIDE NOTE: THERE IS ALWAYS ONE PERSON WHO DOES WELL IN EACH OFFICE AS A J.P. - DONT BE FOOLED, THAT IS NOT NOT NOT NORMAL)
