- Redundancies - Awful pay for the work we do -Very poorly run, change of projects often made with staff moved about. - No development for JTA's (you'll get stuck on 1 project) - Retrospective meetings to see what they can "learn" going forward but NOTHING done. - No overtime pay, yet expected to stay when lab work ran over. Also blamed for poor organisation if lab work did run over. - Unless you push for opportunities you want you will not receive them - must "protect the company" from senior management when concerns raised

There wasn't a single person I disliked. - Working for a small company means it is an exceptional place to learn new skills such as primer design, study design, presentation skills, professional skills. - Collaborative work environment with a flat hierarchy - Manager was supportive even when I was going through a rough patch - £50 per month wellness allowance for things like gym/sports memberships
